WPN member Jane Howatt, pictured inking her contract, has signed with Water Street Press to release Jigsaw and Jane: Thirteen years of murder and mayhem with Badge #1. In the mid-80s, Jane began writing the memoir of John St. John, LAPD’s most decorated detective who solved more murders during his career. At the time, it was to be his memoir. However, over the years and John’s passing, the real story of a doctor’s wife who rides along and helps solve murders with Badge #1 evolved. The book is set for a Spring 2023 release.
