The Latest Scoop

Travis Edward Pike‘s Changeling’s Return, a novel approach to the music, wins an E2 Media 2020 Award of Excellence. Changeling’s Return tells the tale of protagonist Morgen, a fledgling kitchen porter turned rock ‘n’ roll singer, turned seismic household name, on the eve of an adventurous European concert tour, but instead of kicking back at a prearranged press party with the rest of his band (Beantown Home Cookin’), Morgen takes a hired sporty two-seater for a spin with catastrophic consequences.

Edited by Sandra Murphy, Peace, Love, and Crime: Crime Stories Inspired by ‘60s Music, features twenty-two short stories with crimes ranging from theft and revenge to murder, paired with songs of the ‘60s, although not the typical British invasion or folk protest songs. The writers dug deep to find songs that represent the unrest, anti-war protests, rebellion against the Establishment, and of course, tie dye. For those who lived through the ‘60s, it will bring back memories. For the younger set, it will teach them what real music is! Special: from November 3 through 10, go to Drive Thru Fiction for an immediate download. Pre-order print copies from the Untreed Reads store (ordering from the publisher saves on high fees other vendors charge). On November 10, find it wherever ebooks and print are sold.
