The Small Press Network’s tenth annual Independent Publishing Conference will be held online on 25, 26 and 27 November. The three-day program is split into an academic research day (Thursday 25), an industry day that focuses on all the current issues (Friday 26), and a practical workshop day to enhance your skills (Saturday 27).
Whether you’re a self-publisher, a small-to-medium publisher, an emerging author, a publishing student or just anyone interested in the book industry, this is a must-attend event.
Speakers include award-winning author Laura Jean McKay, powerhouse Indigenous writer and spokesperson Anita Heiss and much-loved publisher Terri-Ann White. Debbie Lee will present a session on retail distribution, different pricing models, and how to sell more books and reach new markets.
