805 Writers’ Conference focuses on the craft and business of writing with a day-long Fiction Master Class, half-day Short Story Fundamentals, Your Life as Story memoir, and Story Structure classes. Two tracks will feature educational seminars with panels comprised of publishing professionals and published authors. A panel with literary agents will meet with individual attendees in advance to review manuscripts. The event is produced by Pacific Institute for Professional Writing and co-sponsored by WPN, Independent Writers of Southern California, Ventura County Writers Club, Women’s National Book Association-Los Angeles Chapter, and Book Publicists of Southern California.
