Anthony Mora, began his media career as a freelance journalist. He left freelancing to serve as the editor-in-chief of Impresión magazine. The magazine, which featured such authors as Octavio Paz, Carlos Fuentes, Gabriel Marcia Marquez and Carlos Casteneda, focused on the arts, literature and entertainment. He also served as editor-in-chief of Excel magazine, an entertainment and lifestyle-oriented publication.
Anthony launched his public relations firm, Anthony Mora Communications, Inc. in 1990. The firm specializes in media placement, image development, and media training. has placed clients in: Time, Newsweek, 60 Minutes, CNN, the Wall Street Journal, the Oprah Winfrey Show, the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, the Wall Street Journal, the BBC, Film Maker, Variety, Publisher’s Weekly, and various other local, national, and international media outlets. In 2010, Anthony launched PR for Writers (www.prforwriters.com) a branch of his company devoted exclusively to fiction and non-fiction writers.
The author of two non-fiction books, The Alchemy of Success and Spin to Win, a step-by-step guide on how to define goals and utilize the power of the media, Anthony has been featured in: USA Today, Newsweek, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, The BBC, CNN, Entrepreneur, Fox News, MSNBC, and other media. Anthony has had five plays produced and is a published novelist. He is currently working on a new novel tentatively titled His Better Self.
