About our October 7 Speaker Tammy Ditmore

“Team Up with the Right Editor to Make Your Writing Leaner, Faster, Stronger” with editor Tammy Ditmore

IWOSC/WPN October 7 Meeting
Goebels Adult Center
Thousand Oaks

Tammy DitmoreThe October 7 meeting of IWOSC/WPN Ventura County will host editor Tammy Ditmore who will speak on “Team Up with the Right Editor to Make Your Writing Leaner, Faster, Stronger.” The meeting is held at Goebel Adult Center and begins at 6:30 pm. Everyone is welcome.
Good editors are like personal trainers — they instruct, encourage, correct, and (sometimes) nag. Teaming up with the right editor can help authors hone their writing and reach their full potential.
But how do writers find the right editors for their project? Someone with the right skills and experience? Someone who will be honest yet supportive? Someone who can help polish a book or article without scraping an author raw?
Tammy Ditmore of eDitmore Editorial Services has been editing since the days of disco, and she wants to take away some of the fear and mystery about finding — and keeping — your perfect editor. At the October 7 meeting of IWOSC/WPN Ventura County, Tammy will discuss:

  • Why do you need an editor?
  • What kind of editor do you need?
  • When should you hire an editor?
  • Where do you find an editor?
  • Who will be the right editor for you?
  • How much will an editor cost?
  • How can you create a great team with your editor?

Bring your editing questions for Tammy to answer.
