For anyone interested in writing fiction or nonfiction about any of the public safety fields, mystery writers included, check the Public Safety Writers Association’s annual conference. It’s July 12-15 at the Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas. The registration fee includes the evening reception and three gourmet lunches. For a small fee there is a pre-conference writing workshop. Men and women from all types of law-enforcement attend.
